Student Prerequisites

This class is intended for experienced Plone customizers, as well as people who have taken week-long, developer-oriented classes, such as:

  • PloneBootcamps Plone Developer Bootcamp
  • Enfold Systems Developer Workshop
  • CIGNEX Developer Workshop

Students should have the following skills:

  • Experience building a Plone site
  • HTML and CSS skills
  • Knowledge of Zope Page Templates
  • Understanding how to write PythonScripts in Zope and Plone
  • Experience building straightforward Archetypes

Requirements

This is a hands-on class. Each student should bring a laptop to class, with Plone installed. Helpful instructions on how to install the required software will be sent to class registrants prior to class.
